Agenda for CRaTER TIM Thursday, April 14, 2005 ------------------------ 0830 Introduction -- Organization/3 institutions Rick Foster 0845 Current Mission Status GSFC, et al -- Functional Diagram -- Mechanical Design -- Thermal Design -- Flight Command and Data System -- Power Distribution 1000 Instrument Status -- Science overview/trades Harlan Spence -- GCRs and Solar Flares Justin Kaspar -- Electrical, Systems/Data/Power Bob Goeke -- Electrical, Analog Bill Crain -- Mechanical Design, Overview/Mass Matt Smith -- Manufacturing/Quality Assurance Brian Klatt 1230-1330 Lunch 1330 Integration & Operations -- Ground Support Activities Chris Sweeney -- Operations Overview GSFC -- Science Observations/Calibration Harlan -- Data Analysis Larry Kepko -- Instrument Accomodations GSFC (SolidWorks show and tell) 1500 Other topics as required ------------------------ Assumptions: ** The GSFC folks have read the proposal and/or kickoff presentation. That's why we're not starting with a general science intro., systems engineering overview, etc., etc. (But the MIT/BU/Aerospace people haven't seen a lot about the spacecraft, which is why GSFC /is/ presenting an overview.) ** A good part of the purpose of this TIM is to introduce people. Each presenter should start with a brief bio of his experience. If you don't have a lot to say technically because the program is just starting, don't feel badly. Present one or two slides and let the program move on. ** If you have specific questions for GSFC, ask them during your presentation (not at the end of the day); e.g.: what rad levels do you want us to assume. ** Presentation materials should be available as Microsoft PowerPoint or PDF (so we can bundle up the talk after the fact into one file; e-mail your stuff to Bob Goeke). SolidWorks, I fear, will always be an exception.
