Fly into Calgary, Alberta, Canada, rent cars. Spend first night at
Calgary motel and first day hiking to Lake Annette. Drive to HI-Lake
Louise Alpine Center, a modern hostel with in-room showers, 4 people per
5 person room sleeping accommodations, pleasant dining room, spacious,
sunny deck, large, peaceful library, complete kitchen. Each day we will
do hikes with panoramic vistas that have startling impact. Hikes you
would be eager to do again. They include Valley of the Ten Peaks,
Sentinel Pass, Helen Lake, Wilcox Pass, Parker Ridge, Fairview Mt.,
Molar Pass, Niles Meadow and Plain of the Six Glaciers. Most hikes will
be in Banff National Park, two in Yoho Nat'l Park and one in Jasper
Nat'l Park. Spend last night in Calgary at motel near airport. $1,700
plus ~$700 airfare. Car rentals, lodging, dinners included.
